Madame Vo BBQ is a funky spot serving up top notch Vietnamese style barbecue. While most appetizers are prepared in the kitchen, grilled meats are grilled tableside. Look for dishes like Grilled Quail with tamarind-honey glaze, Spring Rolls with Short Rib and Bone Marrow with a truffle-hoisin sauce, and BBQ Oyster with charred uni mayo. Meat dishes include Bo Lui, a lemon grass-marinated short rib roll with white onion and scallion oil (very delicious); Vietnamese Steak with bone-marrow butter and roasted garlic; and Nem Nuong, roast Berkshire pork meatballs with scallion oil and crushed peanuts. There is a $59 per person tasting menu if you'd like a try a bit of everything. >>

UPDATE: Madame Vo adds brunch to its line-up. Chef Jimmy Ly’s playful take on Vietnamese flavors is showing up in dishes like Vietnamese Chicken & Waffles with waffles made from pandan and coconut milk; Bon Ne Lemongrass Steak & Eggs with marinated ribeye and fried eggs served in a skillet; and Chan Chua Shrimp Bahn Mi sandwich with tamarind-glazed shrimp, pineapple, basil, rau ram (a type of coriander) and Vietnamese mayo.
