Juicing up at Melvin's. This Jamaican-inspired organic juice bar, made popular at Miss Lily's in SoHo, now has a second location inside the Dream Hotel. But you don't have to be a hotel guest to enjoy these 100% organic, freshly made juices and smoothies, including the Sweet & Dandy made with apple, beet and lemon. Melvin Major, Jr. is the driving force behind the juice bar. A 20-year veteran of the organic juice scene, Melvin now has a cult following. His recipes are said to have healing and preventative benefits, while still tasting good. But it's more than just juices. Melvin's Juice Box is also serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Menu items include house made granola with Greek yogurt and fresh berries, along with a Quinoa-crusted roast squash burger served on a whole wheat bun. You will also find grab-and-go salads and sandwiches, like fresh roasted turkey breast with cranberry mustard on onion focaccia bread.
