Named after the Aztec goddess of the night, Oxomoco is the latest venture by Speedy Romeo chef Justin Bazdarich. Bazdarich is focusing on wood-smoked dishes as this small, yet well-designed restaurant in the heart of Greenpoint. Tacos include pork cheek carnitas with an avocado-tomatillo salsa, arrachera flank steak with ember roasted onion, and chicken al pastor with grilled pineapple. Appetizers range from Oxomoco guacamole with smoked cherry tomatoes & queso fresco to a shrimp ceviche tostada. Dining is available both indoors and out, weather permitting.
