It doesn't get better than this when it comes to turning on the charm.  The River Cafe offers stunning waterfront views of the Manhattan skyline and Brooklyn Bridge, perfect for a romantic meal. It's also known as a culinary destination.  Dine on Pacific Blue shrimp serve d"Oscar Style" with king crab meat, white asparagus with a citrus Maltaise sauce; chilled East and West Coast oysters with a lemon pepper granita; and roasted rabbit served with 21-layer rabbit bolognese lasagna made with Brooklyn ricotta. Larger plates include herb roasted organic Amish chicken, a 16 ounce char-grilled Niman Ranch strip steak and duck breast with crispy lavendar and spice crusted skin.  The River Cafe also offers a fixed-price tasting menu with wine pairing and caviar service served with toast points and tiny corn pancakes.  A milk chocolate souffle and pistachio semifreddo are counted among the desserts.
