This family owned and operated diner has been in business since 1936 serving breakfast and lunch. And while the original owner, Gus Vlahavas, has passed on, the restaurant continues to thrive along with another location in Coney Island. It's also one of the few places in the city where you can enjoy a Brooklyn egg cream or homemade cherry-lime rickey. Pancakes, waffles, burgers and shakes are also available.
