Originally opened in Houston, Texas by Robert Precious in the 1980s, Under The Volcano later landed in New York City as a mezcal bar. It has now reinvented itself with a whole new look and menu. Think of it as a neighborhood tavern with a relaxed atmosphere to grab a bite and a drink in Midtown. The menu is traditional bar fare with a modern take and organic ingredients. Visitors will also find classic cocktails and craft beers, along with sustainable, organic and biodynamic wines.
