Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks, the nation’s largest Independence Day display, will return to the East River this year for it's 40th Anniversary and promises to dazzle the shorelines of Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn with an unparalleled spectacle of color!

Independence Day brings the annual Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest to Coney Island. 32 contestants vying to be this year's hot dog champ. Joey Chestnut holds the title at 69. Don't forget to get a few for yourself.
