A new exhibit at the Tenement Museum is highlighting life on the Lower East Side as chronicled by photographer Rebecca Lepkoff. Born on Hester Street in 1916, Lepkoff images document a time when push carts lined Suffolk Street, kids played in the streets and the area was predominantly Jewish. Lepkoff's images will remain on display through the end of April in the lobby of the Tenement Museum. There is also an ongoing display at the Howard Greenberg Gallery.
