Restaurant week is back! Time to take a bite from some of New York's favorite restaurants on the cheap.
How about pan-roasted skate wing with braised fennel at Ai Fiori, Memphis baby back ribs with sesame cole slaw at Blue Smoke, or braised pork belly with French black lentils at Le Cirque. Whether it's an established restaurant or a newcomer (Layfayette, Butter Midtown, The Cecil, El Toro Blanco, The Marrow), you really can't beat the price. $25 gets you a 3-course lunch. For $38, you've got dinner.
There are some restrictions. For instance, not all the deals are offered on weekends. But for most people it's an opportunity to try a spot you might not otherwise be able to afford. And that is a good thing.
