Usually when something sounds like a gimmick it usually is. But not int he case of 5 Boroughs Ice Cream, which comes in flavors like Upper East Side "Rich White Vanilla", Astoria's "Bakla-Wha?!" and Staten Island "Landfill", which Staten Islanders are none too happy about. But what we're happy about is that the ice cream is actually quite good. The two flavors we sampled "Rich White Vanilla" and "NYPB" flavored with peanut butter and bits of chocolate fudge were quite decadent! You can find 5 Boroughs Ice Cream at various locations, including; Garden of Eden, Gourmet Garage, Park Slope Food Coop and Amish Market stores. - Thomas Rafael
