Through the end of September, Marc Forgione’s Trattoria One Fifth is celebrating “Endless Summer” with a Last-of-the Season menu featuring Heirloom Tomato Salad, Jurgielwicz Duck Milanese, Montauk Striped Bass along with Build-Your-Own Copetta gelato sundaes. Toast to the last days of summer with One Fifth’s Spritz Season Menu, including Green Machine (Génépy, Fennel Liqueur, Lime, and Prosecco) and Puttin' on the Spritz (Bitter Rosso, Cointreau, Grapefruit, Vanilla, and Prosecco). Spritz pitchers are also available.

CasaSalvo continues its rapid expansion with three new locations of the up-and-coming espresso bar: Upper East Side at 1491 Second Avenue on September 15, near Hudson Yards at 470 Ninth Avenue on September 22, and Soho at 38 Grand Street on October 5. The locations will continue to offer a variety of coffee and espresso beverages, all priced at $2.50 per cup.

Clinton Hall is celebrating Sunday NFL Football with an unbelievable deal in the form of 50 cent wings. The special will be available at all locations including FiDi (90 Washington St.), 36th Street (16 W. 36th Street), E. 51st Street (230 E. 51st) and Bronx (601 E. 189th St.) starting on Sunday, September 8th and throughout the NFL season. Visitors will also find craft beers, smash burgers, giant pretzels and more.

The ‘New York On Location’ Street Fair to Return to Queens, Showcasing Behind-the-Scenes Look at Film and TV Production in New York, in partnership with the Museum of the Moving Image. Eighteen working movie trailers and trucks will feature special-effects and makeup demonstrations, weather effects, camera cars and more around the Kaufman Astoria Studios backlot (36 Street, between 34 and 35 Ave) in Queens on September 15 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. The Whitney Museum of American Art and AILEY will celebrate the upcoming exhibition Edges of Ailey with free outdoor dance classes at the Museum on Sunday, September 8. Dancers of all ages and abilities are invited to join Ailey Extension instructor and former Company member of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater Amos Machanic. Classes are offered in front of the Museum at 12 pm and 2 pm.

Brooklyn Flea is coming to Williamsburg. The new market - BQ Flea - will be located under the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway along Meeker Avenue between Union and Lorimer Avenues smack dab between Williamsburg and Greenpoint. Look for works from local artisans, vintage goods, furniture, rugs, clothing, jewelry and more. BQ Flea launches October 6 and will be open for 4 October Sundays only this year, 10am-5pm.


Looking Ahead:

New York BagelFest returns for their fifth year, bringing together the best bagel makers from around the globe to compete for the world title. This year's lineup features 50 exhibitors, including returning champions Olmo (New Haven, CT) and Starship Bagel (Dallas, TX), alongside industry veterans from Utopia Bagels (Queens, New York) to St Viateur Bagel (Montreal). Taking place in the prestigious Piazza 31 Club at Citi Field on Saturday, September 28th, from 10am to 4pm, BagelFest promises tastings, entertainment, competitions, and immersive experiences, highlighted by the World Bagel Rolling Championship and BagelFest Awards Ceremony. Tickets start at $49 for the morning session (10am-1pm) or afternoon session (1-4pm). VIP tickets are also available.
