Tigre, the trendy Lower East Side cocktail lounge from Premiere Enterprises, has introduced a new section on their menu dedicated to Sonics—low-ABV cocktails that are redefining the spirit and tonic category. Sonics are made by adding soda water to spirit and tonic drinks, creating a lighter, less sweet option. At Tigre, they focus on a dominant flavor profile rather than a specific spirit, resulting in a refreshing Collins-style drink. Notable Sonics include the botanical Gentian, smoky Pasilla, strikingly tart Rhubarb, floral Ume, and fragrant Yuzu, each showcasing a unique blend of ingredients.
