Turkish bistro Leyla (108 West 74th Street) is offering a  Thanksgiving special called "Pumpkin Candy." It consists of roasted pumpkin with cinnamon, star anise and sugar, drizzled with tahini syrup and topped with shredded almonds.  Sounds yummy!

The folks behind Wayla and Kimika now have a new Chinese fast-casual concept at the JACX&CO Food Hall (28-07 Jackson Avenue) in Long Island City, called Lotus + Cleaver.  Look for things like Heritage Pork Char Sui, Cascun Farms Rotisserie Chicken, Chilled Sweet Potato Noodles and Red Braised Beef.
