Mesiba, the Tel Aviv-inspired restaurant at The Moxy in Williamsburg, is introducing Chef Eli’s Buli's Msabbaha. Chef Buli developed the recipe from his memories eating hot hummus at the port in Jaffa, Israel. The dish is available within a limited window daily from 5:00pm - 6:30pm. Each Masabbaha is made to order with warm roasted chickpeas, Moshes olive oil, tahini and a tatbila spice blend, rolled over on a gorgeously decked out trolley. This signature offering is perfect for sharing among a small group and is served with Frena Bread: a traditional Moroccan bread prepared in a taboon clay oven and topped with sea salt, sesame, and sage oil ($20).
