BURGERHEAD Opens in West Village

BURGERHEAD, the fast casual charburger concept from partners William Djuric and Jason Correa (both previously of Balkan StrEAT) has arrived in the West Village. Located in the same space as Balkan StrEAT once was, William and Jason flipped the space into a burger concept, another favorite of theirs, specifically focused on charburgers cooked over an open flame.

The menu at BURGERHEAD includes burger options like the Charburger, Double Charburger, Chili Charburger (with beef chili), Bacon Cheese Charburger and an Impossible Charburger, all served with American cheese, lettuce, onions, pickles, and specialty house sauce. There’s even a lettuce wrap double cheese burger.

The menu also includes all-beef hot dogs like the Chardog and the Chili Cheese Dog (with beef chili and cheddar cheese), topped with onions and mustard, and served on a toasted potato bun.

Select sides include Fries cooked in beef tallow, Beer Batter Onion Rings, and Chili Cheese Fries, loaded with house ground beef chili, and cheddar cheese. Additional toppings for all menu items include grilled onions, cherry peppers, house specialty sauce, and bacon. Hand-spun Chocolate and Vanilla Milkshakes, with the option to top with whipped cream, sprinkles, oreo cookies and maraschino cherries are also available.

BURGERHEAD (353 Sixth Avenue, NY) is open from 11:30am-11pm Tues-Wed, 11:30am-12 am Thurs-Sat, and 11:30am-10pm on Sundays, and is walk-in only. Takeout and delivery are available via Grubhub, DoorDash and UberEats. For more information, please visit www.burgerhead.com and follow @burgerheadnyc.
