Bay Ridge Fishbar Knows How to Reel ‘Em In

When heavy rain cut short the Octoberfest in Bay Ridge this past Sunday, where did people go? To the new Bay Ridge Fishbar. First off the place is immaculate with a sea blue and white nautical motif. The owner telling us fresh fish will be on display up front and depending upon what’s in stock, they will cook it for you, or you can buy it and cook it at home. There are also plans in the works for a sushi station and poki bowls.
For now, the restaurant is serving up oysters and clams on the half shell, shrimp cocktail and lobster bisque. Other signature dishes include shrimp cocktail, fried calamari, fish & chips and lobster rolls. Hand cut fries, and salt & vinegar fries, are also available. All of the fish we sampled was extremely fresh.
While there is no seating inside, outdoor seating will be available in the front and backyard when the weather permits.
