Bosco Opens in the West Village with Latin-Inspired Street Foods and Cocktails

Bosco (169 Bleecker Street), from the team behind Tara Rose, is now open in the West Village. Owner Kevin Doherty is bringing his love of cocktails to the forefront with the help of award-winning mixologist, Stephen Wynne inspired by American, Irish and Mexican cultures. The Latin theme extends to the kitchen with street foods by consulting Chef Alan Delgado, formerly of Michelin-starred Oxomoco and sister restaurant, Xilonen.



Signature drinks include "Mo Chara" (Gaelic for "My Friend"), which consists of Lost Irish whiskey, ginger and lime sherbet, falernum and bitters; and the "Sodi Sour Mezcal” made from vanilla orgeat, lime and egg whites. Another must-try drink is the “The Diversity Tequila,” Whynn’s take on the classic Paper Plane cocktail. His version is made from Aperol, yellow chartreuse, lime, orange and marmalade.

In keeping with Bosco’s casual and fun vibe, patrons can expect flavorful shared plates with a mouthwatering selections of tacos and tortas. Guests will be able to snack their way through a medley of tacos - tempura fried halibut with cilantro lime mayo; flank steak with guacamole and salsa de arbol; roasted maitake with caramelized onions, avocado salsa; carnitas with onion, cilantro and salsa verde; and tinga de pollo with onion and cilantro.

The space features chic cocktail bar and dining room area, as well as outdoor seating. DJs will also be spinning tunes four nights a week, Thursday through Sunday. Bosco will be open, 12:00 pm to 2:00 am (7-days a week).
