Bradley Cooper is stepping into the culinary world with Danny & Coop's, a new cheesesteak restaurant in partnership with Danny DiGiampietro, owner of Philadelphia's Angelo’s Pizzeria. The duo is bringing a slice of Philly to New York City’s Alphabet City neighborhood, with their first brick-and-mortar location slated to officially open in January 2025 at 151 Avenue A, across from Tompkins Square Park. But eager food lovers didn’t have to wait that long to get a taste. The restaurant hosted a soft opening from December 20–22, serving up just one item: a classic Philly cheesesteak.
Fans lined up well in advance for the limited-time preview, where Cooper himself was spotted in the kitchen, crafting cheesesteaks alongside DiGiampietro's family. According to People, the actor kept a low profile, but content creators like Mike Chau captured Cooper hard at work “turning out top-notch cheesesteaks.” Even Cooper's girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, reportedly joined in on the excitement, promoting the soft launch on her Instagram Stories. And judging by the reception, Danny & Coop's is already gearing up to be a hit.
