Buddha-Bar – the destination Pan-Asian restaurant – now has a location in TriBeCa with a modern, chef-driven menu and a breathtaking interior, including a 16-foot, glass-hewn Buddha sculpture which serves as the centerpiece of the space.

The restaurant, bar and lounge sit within a historic landmarked building in a vaulted two-story space with meticulous, opulent modern design perfectly aligned with the rustic beams and bricks of the original structure. The restaurant’s interiors feature fully-custom décor and furnishings commissioned from Milan-based Laura Meroni, as well as custom-designed large-scale metal pendant lights that hang in the main dining room.

The menu for Buddha-Bar Restaurant New York is led by Executive Chef Andrew Riccatelli, a Food Network’s Chopped Champion, has been a culinary professional for the better part of 20 years and in that time he worked alongside some of the best chefs and restaurateurs in the country including Jean-Georges, Bobby Flay and Stephen Starr. The menu features a modern take on Asian cuisine and beloved dishes from the legacy of Buddha-Bar's original menu in Paris and locations around the world.

“We have been exploring new ways to bring the unique energy of New York and quest for innovation inherent in this city to our Buddha-Bar menu,” says Executive Chef Andrew Riccatelli. “We are working with the highest quality products to create new, elevated dishes, and we are eager to share our passion for modern Asian cuisine with the people of New York, as well as bring them beloved favorites from Buddha-Bar.”

Look for modern takes on dishes from the robata grill, fresh sashimi, finely curated maki rolls, and Thai-inspired curries, as well as signature and new dishes such as A5 Miyazaki wagyu ribeye with crispy rice, and whole roasted cauliflower with black bean-chili oil, peanut and mint.

The bar program includes a full range of cocktails offered in the mezzanine lounge and in the main dining area, as well as an extensive wine selection visible along the full length of one wall of the main dining area. Two private dining rooms are also available for executive board meetings, birthday celebrations, engagement parties or corporate networking events.
