CHARLAYNE WOODARD'S ''THE NIGHT WATCHER'' GETS ENCORE VIEWING

Primary Stages is offering a special encore viewing of “The Night Watcher, an auto-biographical, one-woman play by Tony-winning actress-playwright Charlayne Woodard, from February 17-28.
Simultaneously a best friend, advisor, confidant and sage to the many young people who call her “Auntie,” Woodard beautifully weaves together stories of the ordinary and extraordinary ways she has mentored the children in her life in this remarkable show.
Woodard won the Tony for her work in the original production of “Ain’t Misbehavin’.” Her many stage credits include “Pretty Fire.” “Daddy.” “Fabulation” and “Hamlet.”
