With the Jewish High Holidays approaching, GERTIE, a modern diner and community space in Williamsburg, is the perfect gathering spot to enjoy meaningful meals with loved ones. Known for its warm, welcoming atmosphere, GERTIE will host two special events in celebration of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, offering delicious, family-style meals prepared by talented chefs and local partners.

On Thursday, October 3 at 6pm, GERTIE will team up with its sister restaurant, gertrude’s, for a Rosh Hashanah dinner led by Chefs Mike Cain and Eli Sussman. This festive meal will feature holiday favorites like apples and honey, along with creative dishes such as Pastrami Salmon, Port Braised Mushroom Varnishkes, and Roasted Chicken with dates and artichokes. Guests can enjoy the dinner for $98, complete with a complimentary welcome drink. Tickets via Resy

For those observing Yom Kippur, GERTIE will host a “Break Fast” party on Saturday, October 12 at 5:30pm, featuring an all-you-can-eat spread of smoked fish from Acme Smoked Fish, sweet treats from Fan-Fan Doughnuts, and complimentary coffee, tea, and juice. Tickets for this relaxed, post-fast feast are $55. Both events are open to all and promise a memorable way to mark these special occasions. Tickets via Resy
