A stop at Shelsky’s is mandatory for a classic takout Sunday brunch. Our favorite is an Everything Bagel loaded up with Nova Scotia salmon, scallion cream cheese, tomato, red onions, and capers. It is so delicious! 453 4th Ave, Brooklyn, NYC
During a recent visit to Jupiter at Rockefeller Center we stumbled upon our new favorite desset, Cassata Fredda. It’s a snow-ball sized mound of a frozen dessert, similar to ice cream, made with fresh ricotta, bits of pistachios, candied orange and dark chocolate. Delish! Ice Rink Level at Rockefeller Center
NYC’s Little Brazil, while just a small handful of restaurants are left, it still manages to astound with its Brazilian flavors. At Emporium Brasil we can’t pass up on the Apertivo, a mix of Lunguca (fried sausage), Frango A Passarinho (fried chicken with garlic) and Camarao ao Alho (sauteed shrimps in garlic sauce). It’s a mound of goodness for the entire table to share. 15 West 46th St, NYC
