Alamo Drafthouse Cinema will offer a taste of its movie programming with three free-admission outdoor screenings on the Fosun Plaza at its soon-to-open new location at 28 Liberty.
The screenings will take place every Thursday night at 7pm from September 30 through October 14. The films will be projected in the building’s outdoor plaza, which features a signature sculpture by Jean Dubuffet and a Sunken Garden by Isamu Noguchi and they will be complemented by themed festivities and popcorn before the show.
The three films will be John Carpenter’s acclaimed thriller “Escape from New York,” starring Kurt Russell (October 14); the romantic comedy “You’ve Got Mail,” starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan (September 30); and the family-friendly “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” (October 7)
