Serendipty 3 is set to make a big splash in Times Square. The iconic restaurant and dessert spot now has a location inside the Oyo Hotel on West 47th Street. The restaurant should be opening at any time now. Cititour was able to get a sneak peek of the new restaurant.
Visitors will find plenty of whimsy with two large purple chandeliers as you enter, tables with retro diner-style seating, Andy Warhol images of Marilyn Monroe in bright red, pink arches and checkerboard floor. There is a glittery pink bar with Warhol’s wallpaper of Marilyn’s Lips taking center stage.
As for food, look for menu items similar to the original with things like Ultimate Potato Skins and Not Yo’ Ordinary Nachos. Serendipity 3 is also known for its burgers, foot-long hot dogs, sandwiches, salads, and an assortment of Mac n’ Cheese.
On the sweet side there are Belgian Waffles, including Unicorn and S’Mores varieties, Sundaes like the Outrageous Banana Split, and Frrrozen Hot Chocolates. Some items like the Luxe Milk Shake and Golden Opulence Sundae must be ordered in Advance.
