Halloween Parade
October 31, 2005, 10:10.57 pm ET
I was born and raised in New York, and for the life of me, I never made it to the Halloween Parade. I always wound up settling for the local news and pictures in the paper. It always seemed a little too crazy for me. But this year, I ventured out and was surprised by the energy and excitement that fills the air. It's like mardi gras New York Style.
I got buzzed by bees on skates, almost run over by a flock of chickens on bikes and dodged a huge ball, and had a blast in the process. Here's a glimpse of the Halloween Parade 2005.
I think I'll be back next year!
