Heritage Auctions and HBO will present “Game of Thrones: The Auction” from October 10-12, with a preview of select items to be held from September 17 to October 4 at Heritage Auctions’ New York City gallery (445 Park Avenue).
Through the auction, fans of the long-running series will now have the chance to own significant props, costumes, set decorations, weapons, jewelry and more from David Benioff and D. B. Weiss’ acclaimed adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s novels.
Among the approximately 2,000 items up for auction – many of which will be on display in New York -- are Jaime Lannister’s golden hand, the black leather overcoat and dragon chain Daenerys Targaryen wore to her assassination, Tyrion Lannister’s Hand of the Queen pin, a mountain (and The Mountain) of armor, the Shame Bell, the Valyrian steel bastard sword Longclaw, a White Walker, and the melted Iron Throne.
