Rooftop season is upon us and one of the prime locations is St. Cloud, a stylish rooftop bar and lounge, 17 stories above the heart of Times Square. Located atop the Knickerbocker Hotel, the outside space also highlights the historical features of this treasured landmark building.

Sit back in plush seating in this outdoor oasis with string lights twinkling above and a lush living wall while sipping on signature cocktails designed to reflect the building’s history.

“We’re sharing a story with great product, but we also want to be fun and elegant,” said Samuel Barragan, St. Cloud General Manager. “We want guests to be part of an experience.”

That experience begins with snacks for sharing like Chips & Dip with Russet potato chips, caramelized onion dip, and an option of Platinum Osetra Caviar; Charcuterie Boards; Braised Short Rib Empanadas; and Mini Maine Lobster Rolls served on an everything croissant; among others.

Signature cocktails include The Velvet Rope (Angel’s Envy Bourbon, Licor 43, Strawberries, Basil), Nitro Espresso Martini (Absolut Vodka, Kahlúa, Espresso), and Tequila Mockingbird (Casamigos Blanco, Watermelon, Lime Juice, and Jalapeño).

But the showstopper is the Sakura Old Fashioned (Woodinville Whiskey, Yuzuri, Barbe à papa) that arrives with a blanket of bright pink cotton candy on top dusted with flower petals that is mixed into the drink.

St. Cloud draws a fashionable crowd, whether it is guests staying at the hotel, locals or office workers hosting a special event. Live DJs are available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays during sunset hours from 5pm to 8pm. Other amenities at The Knick include a martini bar at Charlie Palmer Steak IV.
