Krispy Kreme's new flagship store in Times Square might just be the closest thing you will find to Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. Only here, visitors get a chance to see the donuts being made fresh in action, from a look inside the kitchen to a conveyor belt pumping out hundreds of doughnuts at a time. They flip in and out of hot oil before being covered with a smooth glaze. At the end of the line is the counter, where you can buy these sweet treats, including chocolate and strawberry glazed, and Kreme filling. But the star of the show is a bright candy apple doughnut with a candy apple kreme filling, called the Big Apple, that sells for just over ten bucks. There's even have a takeout window for donuts on the-go. Judging by the crowds (during a pandemic), people are loving it!
