BKK New York, the new Thai street food-inspired restaurant in Midtown, is serving up bold flavors. On our visit, standouts included the Everything Spring Roll with shiitake mushroom and glass noodles wrapped in an everything bagel crust, the crispy Shrimp Donut served with salted egg yolk mayo, and the show-stopping Wagyu Kra Pow cooked tableside in a sizzling hot stone bowl.
Drinks are just as fun. We loved the Sang Neon, a glittery cocktail made with tequila, Aperol, charred grapefruit, and butterfly pea soda.
See the full BKK experience in our video, including behind-the-scenes moments and standout dishes.
BKK New York channels the charm of Bangkok’s street food scene with neon lights, fluted glass, and vintage Thai details. The space is divided into zones, including a green-tiled bar, cozy booths, and a mural wall featuring Bangkok’s famous food neighborhoods.
BKK is located at 238 W 56th Street and is open Sunday–Thursday from 11am–10:30pm, and Friday–Saturday from 11am–11pm. Reservations are available on OpenTable.
