L’Avenue at Saks Fifth Avenue is known for its sexy cocktails. Now you can get them without the booze if so desired. In honor of Dry January, L’Avenue is offering two special mocktails.
Spanish Steps is made with unsweetened coconut cream, a house made apple cordial that has a nice tart green apple bite, fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, and soda water. It’s built in a wine glass and has a big fluffy head that is meant to emulate the look of the famous spot in Rome.
Level Notch and its alcoholic kin, Standard Cut, are both made with a parsnip syrup and a lemon pepper acid solution. It’s balanced, earthy, and has a little kick. Both names are a play on the two words that can be found inside the word parsnip, with the Level Notch being the one that keeps you level-headed.
Cheers!
