Coney Waffle Ice Cream and Sweet Shop
825 Surf Ave, Brooklyn, NY

Coney Waffle returns to Coney Island with its signature waffle cones and more than two dozen different flavors, including Coconut Castaway, Monster Cookie Blue, Strawberry Cheesecake and more. Visitors can also choose between waffle cones and waffle bowls, including rainbow waffles. Angela D’Esposito originally operated Coney Waffle back in the 1940s. It was reintroduced in 2016 by her grandson in New Jersey and returned to Coney Island in 2022 where the sweet treats can now be enjoyed. You will find the shop on Surf Avenue across from the Cyclone rollercoaster.

Softside
51 Spring St, New York, NY

If soft serve is your thing, Softside on Spring Street is the place to be. The ice cream comes in four flavors (vanilla, chocolate strawberry and pistachio) with assorted toppings or chocolate and cherry dip. Specialty sundaes include The Bruce with hot fudge, hazelnuts, brownies and whipped cream and Spumoni with chocolate shavings, Amerena cherries and pistachios. The ice cream shop is also serving up shakes like Wilson’s Black & White, Malted Oreo and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

Lady Moo Moo
365 Chauncey St., Brooklyn, NY

Lady Moo Moo is a perennial favorite. Located on Chauncy Street in Bedford Stuyvesant, Lady Moo Moo is a seasonal outpost for some of the city’s best handcrafted ice cream. Flavors include traditional varieties like chocolate, vanilla and strawberry along with more elaborate flavors like Earl Grey Lavender, Banana Puddin’ and Vegan Cherry Chip. A combo of coconut ice cream and passion fruit sorbet is one of our favorites! Open Fri, Sat & Sun from 12pm-8pm. Cash and digital payments accepted.

Enjoy!
