Nestled within the vibrant streets of New York City's Meatpacking District, Le Coin has emerged as a refined culinary haven, where French elegance meets contemporary New York flair. Perched on the corner of 13th Street and 9th Avenue, this intimate restaurant draws inspiration from the coastal and cityscapes of France, reflecting the rich traditions of Parisian cuisine while embracing the modern spirit of bistronomy.

Le Coin’s Executive Chef Sebastien Chaoui includes stints at the illustrious 2-Michelin Star restaurant, Maitre Corbeau, as well as Paris' Hotel National des Invalides. In New York, his work at Coco J’adore and La Petite Maison helped shape the French culinary landscape. Now, at Le Coin, Chef Chaoui has curated a menu that balances the comforting richness of Parisian bistro fare with the bright, vibrant flavors of the French coast.

In the elegant dining space—designed to meld the bustling energy of the city with the timeless charm of French decor—guests can enjoy signature dishes such as the Hachis Parmentier de Canard, a soulful shepherd’s pie made with pulled duck leg confit, or the exquisitely prepared La Saint-Jacques, where pan-seared sea scallops are served with blood orange beurre blanc and a delicate pine nut compote. Each dish is thoughtfully paired with fine wine selections, like a bold 2017 Chateau Charmant from Margaux or a crisp 2022 Louis Latour Pouilly Fuissé, ensuring an impeccable dining experience.

Bistronomy, the philosophy that guides the kitchen, merges the comforting, familiar flavors of traditional French bistro dishes with the refined, innovative techniques of haute cuisine. Every plate at Le Coin embodies this philosophy, offering guests a taste of both old-world warmth and new-world creativity.

But the magic of Le Coin extends beyond the food. With decor curated by Paris Chong, Gallery Director of Leica Gallery LA, the restaurant doubles as an artistic retreat, featuring 17 original works by world-renowned photographers like Mathieu Bitton, Dominique Crenn, and Jesse Diamond. The gallery’s collection of black and white and color photography lines the walls, creating a visually stunning experience that complements the restaurant’s romantic atmosphere.

As Sean Largotta, Managing Director of Le Coin, explains, We are excited to open a new restaurant in the heart of the Meatpacking District,” adding, “With Chef Sebastien's exceptional background in French cuisine, we are confident that our guests will enjoy an unforgettable dining experience at Le Coin."

This thoughtful blend of gastronomy and art makes Le Coin not only a restaurant but a cultural destination in the city’s vibrant Meatpacking District. Le Coin is located at 18 9th Avenue, New York, NY. For more information visit www.lecoinnyc.com
