Le Jardin Bistro has officially reopened, and New Yorkers are flocking to its new Lower East Side location at 95 Delancey Street. This beloved French institution, once a mainstay in the city’s dining scene, has returned with all the charm that made it famous, plus a few new touches, including a rooftop garden that’s perfect for both cozy dinners and vibrant gatherings.

The menu celebrates everything fans have missed: classics like Steak Frites and Onion Soup Gratinée are back, alongside new additions like the Bouillabaisse and Cassoulet. The Bouillabaisse, a seafood stew from Provence, is a standout, filled with fresh shellfish and delicate white fish in a saffron broth, served with baguette slices topped with rouille. The Cassoulet brings a rustic taste of southwestern France, combining slow-cooked white beans, house-made Toulouse sausage, and perfectly braised duck confit.

To pair with the menu, Le Jardin Bistro offers a thoughtful selection of wines and cocktails that add a touch of Parisian elegance without pretense. The reopening has been eagerly awaited, and Jonathan Torres, the General Manager, shared the team’s excitement: “We’re so happy to bring Le Jardin Bistro back to life and reconnect with our community. Our goal is to create a space where French cuisine and warm hospitality shine.”

Le Jardin Bistro is now open from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Wednesday through Sunday, and reservations are available on their website and via OpenTable. With its return, the bistro has revived a little slice of Paris in the heart of New York City.
