Leo’s Famous is redefining New York’s cozy cocktail scene. Tucked away on the lower level of Mediterranean hotspot Leonetta, this brand-new bar and lounge is bringing sophisticated sips and warm vibes to the city.
The subterranean features plush jewel-toned seating, a crackling fireplace, and bookshelves packed with artful curios. It’s the perfect backdrop for indulging in Bar Director Mark Rancourt’s modern spins on classic cocktails.
Rancourt, a veteran of iconic NYC establishments like Pravda and Macao Trading Co., flexes his 35+ years of expertise with a menu designed to dazzle. Highlights include the Naked + Leo’s Famous (lemongrass-infused mezcal, Chinola Mango, and Strega), the tropical-inspired Club 50 Swizzle, and the cheeky Porn Star in the Afternoon, served with a Prosecco chaser misted with absinthe verte.
The drinks aren’t flying solo, either. Chef Ed Cotton, a “Top Chef” finalist and Executive Chef at Jack and Charlie’s No. 118, has crafted a menu of Mediterranean bites to match using local New York produce.
Whether you’re sipping a Sudachi Sour by the fire or kicking back with a Pink Drink in hand, Leo’s Famous is fast becoming the toast of the town. Don’t miss your chance to cozy up at NYC’s hottest new lounge.
