If you have some excess cash to burn, why not burn it Caviar Kaspia, one of Paris’ chicest restaurants that recently arrived at The Mark Hotel (992 Madison Ave) on the Upper East Side. The palatial setting features royal blue tablecloths with tufted chairs against a backdrop of blond wood paneling and modern art pieces.

The caviar program ranges from just under one hundred dollars for a few grams of the briny delicacy to several thousand dollars depending upon the weight and type of caviar you select. They include White Sturgeon, Imperial Baeri, Royal Oscietra, and Selection Oscietra. The caviar is served on everything from baked potatoes to scrambled eggs. Add in a glass of fine champagne and you are golden.

Other options include lobster bisque, foie gras, king crab, and jumbo prawns. There are several types of smoked fish, including salmon, sturgeon and sable, as well as assorted caviar-laden pastas. Wild berries and Kaspia’s Baba with vodka and citrus are counted among the desserts.

As we like to say, live a little!
