Maki a Mano is the latest offering from co-owners Peter Tondreau, Wanisa Tondreau, and Victor Huang who continue to make their mark at Chelsea Market following the success of Very Fresh Noodles, Bar Suzette and Big Tings.

Guests are transported to Tokyo with three interconnected spaces offering retail, dining and nightlife experiences.

Maki a Mano is a hand roll bar where guests can indulge in Nikkei style sushi, sashimi, ceviches and tiradatos. Here the emphasis is on subtle flavors, quality ingredients, and meticulous craftsmanship.

N'Between is a take on a traditional Izakaya with quick bites and a wide selection of Japanese-crafted cocktails, whiskeys, and sakes to enjoy while immersing yourself in the vibrant Hi-Fi sound system.

Mini, inspired by the popular Japanese convenience store concept known as “Konbini,” is a kakigori (shaved ice dessert) stand, offering prepared foods, Japanese convenience staples, and a variety of drinks and snacks through quick self-service.

"Our goal is to provide our guests with an unparalleled dining experience that transports them to the bustling streets of Tokyo,” said co-owner Peter Tondreau. “Through thoughtfully designed spaces and curated menus, we are confident that Maki a Mano will captivate and delight all who visit."

Maki a Mano is located in the main concourse of Chelsea Market across from Posman Books. Hours for Maki a Mano are 12:00 PM – 7:30 PM; N’Between 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM; and Mini12:00 PM – 7:30 PM. Official opening March 8th.
