La Masseria Restaurant Group is expanding its brand with Masseria Caffé, serving traditional pastries baked fresh daily in Hell’s Kitchen.
Traditional Italian pastries include Occhi di Bue, an Italian sandwich filled with raspberry, apricot, or Nutella; Cornetto, similar to a croissant, brimming with Amarena cherries or pistachio cream; Cannolo Siciliano stuffed with sheep’s milk ricotta; and bomboloni, Italian doughnuts filled with Nutella, custard cream, and marmalade. There’s also a small menu of paninis, focaccia, pizza and salads.
Coffee drinks include Italian classics, such as espresso, cortado, macchiato, cappucino, and shakerato, an espresso shaken with ice and simple syrup.
The inviting space features high ceilings, blue floral Italian floor tiles, large glass display cases, and walls adorned with black and white photographs of the Italian countryside. There is also a small shop of imported artisanal Italian products, all hand-selected by the owners, including Masseria group’s branded olive oil, and homemade grissini and biscotti.
Masseria Caffé is located at 891 9th Avenue, New York, NY (315) 230-4604
