Miss Lily’s just leveled up. The East Village’s beloved Caribbean hotspot is entering a bold new chapter with the appointment of Brittney “Stikxz” Williams as its new culinary director—and she’s bringing serious flavor, fresh energy, and an all-women crew of Caribbean culinary powerhouses along for the ride.

A Queens native with deep Jamaican roots, Chef Stikxz cut her teeth at fine-dining heavyweights like Jungsik and Eleven Madison Park. Now, she’s taking the reins at Miss Lily’s 7A, stepping in for chef Andre Fowles (who remains culinary director at Miss Lily’s Negril) and reimagining the menu from the ground up—with heritage, innovation, and sisterhood leading the charge.

Also in the kitchen, Janae Haynes, a Trinidadian-Guyanese American pastry chef with a résumé that includes stints at Nobu, The Modern, and Dovetail. Together, they’ve cooked up a menu that balances Miss Lily’s greatest hits—like Jerk Chicken and Oxtail Stew—with brand-new stunners like Blue Mountain Coffee-Rubbed Pork Chops, Haitian Djon Djon Risotto, and Ackee Cheesecake.

In true Miss Lily’s style, the team stays rooted in sustainability, with locally sourced ingredients and even a few straight from Chef Stikxz’s own family farm in Queens (think: callaloo, Scotch bonnet peppers, thyme).

The new menu just dropped and after 15 years of serving the city serious island vibes, Miss Lily’s is proving it’s just getting started.
