Midtown Manhattan’s new retro-chic American brasserie is now open for lunch. Located just steps away from Rockefeller Center, Monterey (37 East 50th St) is the ideal setting for powerlunchers with something for everyone including Extra Chilled Martinis and non-boozy mocktails.

Chef James Tracey’s lunch menu includes Szechuan Chili Fried Chicken made with CY Eats Mala Chili Oil, (a flavorful, smoky, savory oil by Chef James and his fiance Christine Yi of CY_Eats,) ginger cabbage and honshimeji mushrooms; Monterey Burger on brioche bun, chili aioli, gruyere pickles and french fries; French Dip with prime roast beef, baguette, provolone and french fries; Porcini Lasagna with black truffle fonduta, and The Circle which is chef’s play on the classic Wedge Salad.

Raw Bar options are also offered for lunch including towering Seafood Platters with Oysters and Little Neck Clams, and Whole Lobster to name a few.
