Neeloo, a new restaurant by partners Christophe Moser and Claudio Angelli, has arrived in Williamsburg with a menu inspired by Moser’s upbringing in the South of France.

Neeloo offers diners an assortment of share plates centered on New American cuisine with a Mediterranean twist. Moser is joined by his son, Sean, who steps in as Sous Chef after honing his skills at Gramercy Tavern, Zou Zou’s, Olmsted, Peasant, and Saraghina Caffè.

The seasonal menu features dishes such as Zerbinati Melon, Lardo and Mint; Golden Beet & Peach, Goat Cheese Robiola, Candied Sunflower and Basil; Octopus, Confit Tomato, Almond, and Radicchio; Hearth Broiled Oysters with Camembert cheese; and Marinated Eggplant & Zucchini with Miso, Labne and Puffed Grains. For dessert, there is Baked Alaska with Mascarpone Ice Cream and Strawberries.

Coastal European wine producers also make an appearance on the approachable wine list including regions such as Loire Valley and Provence in France; Samos and Santorini in Greece; Açores Islands in Portugal; and Mallorca and Catalunya from Spain. All of the wines selected have undergone as little intervention as possible, providing a true representation of the grapes and their natural environment.

Designed by Marlena Design Atelier, the space honors the original structure of black-and-white tiled flooring and exposed brick with pops of turquoise throughout. Warm lighting and lush greenery, including a vine-covered outdoor courtyard, adding to the rustic ambiance.

Neeloo is located at 284 Grand Street, Brooklyn, NY. For more information, visit neeloobk.com
