Oak & Vine Arrives on the North Shore of Long Island

Oak & Vine is a seasonal New American restaurant nestled in the heart of Glen Cove (the North Shore of Long Island). The restaurant is using seasonal ingredients sourced locally and from regional purveyors, complemented by a serious wine list and craft cocktails.

The restaurant and bar is helmed by Executive Chef Chris Arturo, formerly with Saddle River Inn and Ani Ramen House; and Pastry Chef, Shari Alam, previously with Hav & Mar. The cocktail program is overseen by mixologist Collin Frazier of Great Jones Distillery.

Start with dishes like Ahi Tuna Crisp (sweet soy, scallion, yuzu, gochugaru, rice crisps); Grilled Octopus (prepared with preserved lemon butter, tomato confit, fingerling potato, olive oil); Roasted Beets (citrus vinaigrette, house made ricotta, sunflower seeds); and Braised Pork Belly (butter beans, carrot puree, hot honey gastrique).

Homemade pastas are also offered like Fettucine Carbonara di Anatra (served with duck bacon, peas, grana Padano, egg yolk fudge); Caserecci Amatriciana (house guanciale, tomato, Calabrian chili, pecorino cacio fiorello) and Bucatini Marinara (fresh tomato, basil, garlic, shaved pecorino di parco).

Looking for something a bit heartier, try the Oak & Vine Ribeye and Filet Mignon. All steaks are served with a choice of chimichurri, au poivre, or peri peri sauce. Other highlights include The Bourbon Burger (bourbon relish, grilled romaine, gruyere, served on a brioche bun); Tuna Steak (toasted farro, cippolini, thyme emulsion); the Pork Chop (sweet potato chipotle gratin, blistered shishito, candied bacon); and Berbere Roasted Cauliflower (cauliflower puree, grapes, brussels sprout leaves, caper vinaigrette).

For dessert, there is Belle Rouge Cheesecake with Mascarpone Cream, Raspberry Coulis, Vanilla Sablée; and Chocolate Cake, Hazelnut Praline Cream, Bourbon, Chocolate Glaze, & Vanilla Ice Cream; among others.

The casual space features wood and stone elements designed to invoke a sense of connection to nature in a calm and welcoming atmosphere.
