Playland Light the Night Walk 2024 to Fight Cancer set for October 19

Playland will host its annual Light the Night Walk on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This family-friendly event, part of a nationwide effort, aims to raise funds and awareness for blood cancer research and patient support. The lantern-lit walk will begin with an opening ceremony at 6:30 PM, and attendees can enjoy activities like face painting, poster decorating, and kids' games. The event will take place rain or shine, with free parking, on-site food vendors, and accessibility for service animals, dogs, strollers, and wheelchairs.
