Café Carmellini, the signature restaurant from James Beard Award-winning Chef Andrew Carmellini is set to open at the new Fifth Avenue Hotel set to open this fall in NoMad. Diners can expect a mix of classic Italian and French cuisines. Diners can expect a luxe space with warm wood paneling and intimate banquettes with an intimate bar and balconies. Café Carmellini is located at 250 Broadway (corner of 28th St).

Signage is up a new Carlo’s Bake Shop from “Cake Boss” Buddy Valastro in the heart of Times Square. The bake shop is known for its Rainbow Cake, pastries, cupcakes, cookies and of course signature cannolis and lobster tails. The new bakery will be located near West 43rd St and Broadway.

A standalone location of Miznon, by Israeli chef Eyal Shan, will be soon opening in the Garment District at 1410 Broadway (near West 39th St). Miznon is known for its delicious pita sandwiches, including its falafel burger, Rib Eye Minute Stake, Lamb Kebab and Cauliflower.

The Interlude Rooftop Lounge, offering panoramic views of Midtown, will soon open at 150 West 48th Street at the new Motto by Hilton in Times Square. Look for craft cocktails in what’s described as a “refined and playful ambiance.”
