Restaurant Radar: El Nuevo Sanchos to replace Anapoli in Bay Ridge

The former Anopoli space (6920 3rd Ave) in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn appears to have been rented out with a sign in the window for El Nuevo Sanchos. The space, which was originally an ice cream shop dating back to 1897, was operated by Anopoli for 26 years as a diner and ice cream shop before closing last August.
Demolition of the interior is underway, but it appears some of the original built-ins have been preserved for now. In 2018, the restaurant was used for the filming of The Kitchen starring Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish and Elisabeth Moss, according to the Brooklyn Reporter.
Shohsaroy
Also on Third Avenue in Bay Ridge, signage is up for a new Uzbek restaurant called Shohsaroy at 7316 3rd Ave, which was formerly a Mexican spot called Catrinas Mexican Grill and British pub Longbow before that.
