Restaurateur Simon Kim, the force behind Michelin-starred COTE, is bringing the Korean Steakhouse to a multi-tiered, 15,000 square foot space at 550 Madison, a landmarked office tower operated by the Olayan Group.

COTE, an iconic Korean steakhouse, is best known for its smokeless Shinpo grills on every table to ensure that each steak is served hot and caramelized to perfection. USDA Prime dry-aged beef, American Wagyu and American Black Angus are offered at the Flatiron location. Cuts include Ribeye, Sirloin, Skirt Steak and COTE Galbi, among others. A custom salt blend accompanies each steak. COTE is also known for its Steak Omakase, available with wine pairing, and signature cocktails.

The new restaurant will offer soaring 60-foot ceilings and similarly sized windows, with dramatic views of Madison Avenue with access to the building’s celebrated new half-acre garden designed by landscape and architecture firm Snøhetta. The elegant garden is the largest new public green space in Midown East. COTE is expected to open in phases. Stay tuned!
