Restaurant Radar: Random Access is coming to Midtown

Easy and approachable Thai cuisine is the concept behind Random Access located on West 32nd Street between Penn Station and K-Town. The restaurant features two open kitchens – a Som Tum Bar and Noodles Bar. On the menu, look for authentic Thai comfort foods meant for a New York palate. Here’s a bit of what you can expect:
Cauliflower Steak Red Curry (Above)
Red curry with grilled cauliflower steak, coconut milk, cumin powder, coriander powder, peanut butter. Served with choice of white jasmine rice, purple jasmine rice or rotti.
Tom Yum Ramen
Spicy & sour seafood broth with shrimp, squid, sliced lime, fish ball & cherry tomato
Bangkok Fried Rice
Spicy fried rice with bean sprouts, egg, scallion, cilantro & Thai basil. Served with grilled shrimp satay
Beef Noodle Soup
Thin rice noodles with braised brisket, tendon, bean sprouts, mustard green & Gai lan
Mango Shrimp Somtum
Mango & Papaya salad with cooked shrimp, spinach, radicchio, dragon fruit & grapefruit
Most dishes are priced between $15 and $20. House special cocktails are offered along with natural wines, beer, and soft drinks including Thai iced tea & Thai iced coffee
