Richard Branson's Everdene Hits The Ground Running in NoMad

With the cutting of a red ribbon, Sir Richard Branson announced the Grand Opening of Everdene, the posh new cultural center at Virgin Hotels New York City in NoMad. The massive space occupies the entire third floor with an outdoor terrace, Library and bar offering an inclusive environment for activities and events from day to night.

With a roster of DJs, live jazz and soirées, Everdene is poised to be an instant New York City hot spot, and with Branson as its cheerleader, there will be no shortage of beautiful people and influencers looking to get in on the action.

Hotel guests and locals alike will find an elevated food menu with small plates like Bigeye Tuna Tartare, Nantucket Bay Scallops, and Duck & Foie Gras Empanadas. Sandwiches include a Vegetarian Club, Beef on Weck, and Smoked Turkey all served with herbed potato chips. There salads with Little Gem and Bibb Lettuces alongside larger plates, including a 28-Day Dry Aged NY Striploin.

Virgin's quintessential rock-and-roll vibe is matched with signature cocktails, like Rhythm Nation made with Zacapa 23 Rum, chocolate bitters, and grapefruit; Changes with Haku vodka, Peychauds, Nino Franco Rustico, and lemon; and Tubular Bells with Dewars, ginger honey, lemon, pear nectar, and angostura bitters. Craft beers from some of New York City’s finest brewers are offered along with wine by the glass and bottle, including several sparkling varieties.

Daytime entertainment includes the 'Queen Supreme' cabaret brunch hosted by House of Yes filled with “surprises and spectacles.” The Library, meanwhile, will play host to some of the most influential annual events in the worlds of art, fashion, music, film, and wellness.
