From the folks behind the popular Evelina in Fort Greene, Brooklyn comes its sister restaurant, Rosticceria Evelina in nearby Clinton Hill, where flavors of Italy shine through.

Appetizers begin with things like Risotto Croquettes packed with tomato sugo, mozzarella and Grand Padano; Gamberi, jumbo broiled shrimp with oranges and garlic tajin butter; and Artichokes alla Romana with hints of fresh oregano and Parmigiano aioli.

There are pizzas to be shared or as a meal. They range from the Pizza Margherita with tomato, fior di latte, and basil to the Pizza Salsiccia with spicy sausage, broccoli rabe, and Mozzarella di Bufala; and Pizza Carbonera with cured guanciale, Pecorino, egg yolk, and black pepper.

Frome the rotisserie comes Snowdance Farm organic chicken, packed with herbs and roasted to perfection. It is served with Yukon Gold potatoes and honey-roasted carrots. Other roasted dishes include Atlantic Scallops with brussels sprouts, maitake mushrooms and radishes, and Pork Chop Milanese with heirloom tomato and oregano. A classic smashburger can also be found. The patty is a mix of short rib & brisket piled high with onions and fontina cheese and served on a house-made bun.

For dessert, there is Basque Cheesecake with citrus marmalade and Tiramisu with Amarena cherries. The house drink is the Two to Mango with mezcal, tequila, mango, passionfruit, Calabrian chili and lime. If your lucky, escape to the private backyard that is open all year long.
