Roam is set to open in Forest Hills (in the former Numero 28 space) just in time for the Super Bowl. The sports bar is serving up craveworthy American fare, beers, cocktails and more. Roam is also offering live music, entertainment and nightly specials. The oversized bar features a massive “When in Roam” spray-painted graffiti wall from street artist Alex Smetsky in addition to having 10 TVs inside and three outside.
Bar bites include tossed wings and boneless wings, a variety of dips including spinach and artichoke along with guacamole and salsa. There are lots of munchies like hot pretzels with cheese, calamari, chicken tenders, kung pao chicken or cauliflower, mozzarella sticks and more. Visitors can also choose from assorted burgers, sandwiches and flatbreads.
Roam has eight beers on tap at any given time in addition to house-made red sangria. Specialty cocktails include a Winter Old Fashioned, Spicy Margarita, Espresso Martini, Hot Toddy, Irish Coffee and Moscow Mule. Seating is available inside and out.
