***UPDATE: CANCELED DUE TO BAD WEATHER***

For the first time since 2019, the “Bryant Park Square Dance” returns for a special one night only engagement on Friday, September 29th, from 5pm to 9pm, in beautiful Bryant Park.

Get ready for a great night of music and dancing under the stars with master of ceremonies/caller David Harvey energizing the crowd with his expert instruction and calls of some of the most popular square dance sequences. All levels of dancers are welcome and no partner necessary.

Taking the crowd on this musical dance voyage will be New York’s favorite old time string band, The Remedies, featuring Thomas Bailey (singer/guitar), Joel Wennerstrom (banjo), Jared Engel (bass) and Sophie Wellington (fiddle).

For the event, Bryant Park will be transformed with country western themed activities and décor complete with a trick roping station, kids’ crafts, corn hole, corn shucking, and even a mechanical bull! Country curated bites by Hester Street Fair will be available for purchase, along with beer and wine by Stout NYC.

Country attire is encouraged. Bandanas will be distributed on a first come, first served basis and hats will be available for purchase at the Bryant Park Shop + Info tent.
